Our son was invited to participate in the African American Leadership Academy! This opportunity is mind blowing. This summer he will be spending some time living in the dorms at UC Merced and attending college classes. They will also be going to Yosemite and doing some cool educational programs there as well. The program is shaped to prepare him to be able to be admitted to any college of his choice by showing him and preparing him for all the requirements to be admitted to a UC school. They will go on a trip every quarter and provide mentors on campus during his normal school to make sure participants are living up to the behavioral and educational expectations of the group and continuing to succeed. The Fresno Unified School District and the 4A group continue to impress me with the tools they are providing my son to succeed. He has busted his ass to earn his seat on this team so you can miss me with any anti-DEI rhetoric because if you are against my son having a few chances at a few of the opportunities I chose to ignore then you are against me and that’s not a position you want to take. Anyways I’m tearing up talking about this amazing opportunity and am beyond grateful to this city for making it happen. Fresno>Everywhere Family>Everything

Happy birthday, Tio Paul! I could write a book on how much my families relationship with this man means to me and how much he has done to inspire and support me. Then the next book would be about how much he does for Fresno as a whole and the tower district community, not to mention the punk scene. He gives his all, all the time and refuses to ask for recognition. I’ve seen him give street people the belt off his waist, food and water and so much more. When I was nose to nose with those bitch ass proud boys you know what Fresno punk rocker was right there ready to go? Paul Cruikshank, hell he’s the one who called me and told me they were down there bullying women, elderly and our trans brothers and sisters and that we needed to get over there. There are quite a few businesses you all love and hold dear that won’t tell you about how they exist because he bailed them out when times were tough or helped them get there start. He might not ask for the credit but he definitely deserves it and I’ll put my name and more on the line any day if you feel differently about all that. Anyways I think you get the point. I wouldn’t have taken to this city like I did if he didn’t walk up and check my creds the first time he saw me flipping records in his store. My love for Fresno is amplified by my love for this Fresno legend. We love you Paul and look forward to many more years of having you in the family

Have an old Jersey you need restored to its original glory??? We’ve got a guy there for that! This is going to be a page turner for Central Valley supporters. It you have a club or just a bunch of football swag you want to trade, sell, restore, flip whatever… hit someone up and let’s get you up there with us.
